Animal control is a 40 plus hour a week position. ACO enforces City Ordinances pertaining to dogs. The city tag helps ACO get your beloved pup home quickly.

Streator Animal Control enforces the dog ordinances in Streator. Please remember there is a City Tag that is required along with your rabies tag. This tag can be purchased for $15 at your local Vet or City Hall. There is a Leash Law for Streator so please keep those pups leashed when not under your control on your property. Lets keep those critters warm for the winter!

It's takes a village to put on North Central Illinois biggest festival! The volunteer meeting will be held at the Streator Moose Lodge Tuesday, July 23rd, at 7 pm. We have so many volunteer opportunities available: setup and teardown crews, daily cleanup crews, bartenders, ID checkers, security, camera and spotlight operators, stage hands, firework donation collectors, and more. We are looking for team members and organizations who really want to help give back to their community and make Streator proud!
