Little Miss crazy Noodle had her her surgery today! She did very well and is currently napping. She does not like being couped up and does not act like she just had a major surgery.
Thankfully to a few donations and many sales (thank you) the last few weeks we were able to pay most of her surgery bill today. We still owe $95.41.
Next Tuesday Meatball gets his chordoma removed so I have 6 days to raise his surgery funds estimated around $1200. She has a recheck in two weeks and will have to have x-rays in 6 months to make sure there is no comeback of stones. I got her off the food with the peas in it so hopefully no future stones!

I’m not sure what is going on but I am getting MANY texts today regarding adopting ferrets. Unfortunately I am not doing adoptions at this time. Most of our ferrets here at the rescue are over the age 5 and/or have some sort of health issue and they have been here for quite some time. I feel that it is better that they stay here with me due to how long they have already been here or because of health issue. I also have bonded groups of ferrets and I will not separate them as they love each other. Within those groups there are ferrets with adrenal disease. So again I will not separate bonded ferrets. Please contact Ferrets Unlimited Rescue Services or Heart of Ohio Ferret Association to inquire if they have any adoptable ferrets.
Thank you

Last night I got an urgent call for help for June the ferret. His owners noticed he wasnt acting right. They called many veterinary hop and clinics but none could help or didn’t return her call. Around 11pm I got a text message for a plea of help from Junes owner. We met me at midnight. I did my once over exam in the parking lot of Southeast Harley Davidson and instantly suspected a blockage. He was also very dehydrated. June was left in my care and the plan was to get him thru the night as I pushed sub q fluids and p**pin Pumpkin and to get him to my vet Thursday morning. He made it thru the night and his hydration levels improved Morning came and plans had to change as I was not aware that my vet was now closed on Thursdays and we had to wait till Friday morning to see my vet. I kept pushing sub q fluids. The Poopen Pumpkin was trying to do its job as he did p**p and I could feel the blockage lower in his abdomen. He got weaker and I contacted his family. They called Avon Lake Animal Clinic and luckily they were able to see him. I flew on the highway and the 45 minute drive took me 35 minutes. I met Junes family in the parking lot and we went inside. Dr. Krupka confirmed my suspicion of blockage and did emergency surgery and it was a big hairball! No other damage was found inside. June is now in recovery but still critical and in an incubator hooked up to an IV. We pray he makes it thru the night. He is a fighter! Surgery was estimated at almost $3000. If anyone can help with Junes vet bill that will be greatly appreciated by his family.

Thank you

Hey there! I wanted to share that Molly's ferret, June, is in need of urgent vet care, and they’re trying to raise funds to cover the medical expenses. Every little bit helps and can really make a difference in getting June the treatment he needs. If you could take a moment to donate or even just share the link, it would mean a lot!

Meatball and Noodle were recently surrendered due to a domestic violence situation and needing some major healthcare. Meatball has a golf ball sized chordoma on his tail and Noodle has bladder stones. They are both on antibiotics and Noodle also gets pain meds even though she doesn’t act like she is in pain. We all know bladder stones are painful. They both need to gain some weight as well before surgery so they are get soupies a few times a day. We need to raise $2500 for these surgeries. There are many ways to donate. You can hit the link with this post or directly donate to these options.
