✨Boo at the Barn stall decorations are straight from the imaginations of our riders.✨ Boo at the Barn is an opportunity for our riders to connect with the community. They are volunteering their time and talents to create an accessible trick-or-treat experience. ✨This event also allows our riders and guests to practice social interactions with friends and strangers in a safe space. Our riders get to introduce others to their favorite Trinity Farm horses and share their creativity. ✨Sharing your passion and creations with others can feel scary and it places us in position to feel vulnerable as others view our work. Boo at the Barn allows riders to practice acknowledging feelings like anxiety or extreme excitement in setting designed to gain positive experiences to build on in the future. ✨ I could go on and on about the growth our riders experience from Boo at the Barn but the proof is in the smiles and pure happiness on their faces.

Ady & Belle had fun cross country schooling at Stonegate Farm today. She did a great job putting some of her new skills to use and we loved all the festive autumn fences Jackie had set up for the Hunter Pace. 🍂

🐾Yesterday was National Dog Day. Lizzy, aka Fish, is a minature long haired dachshund and an Emotional Support Animal. She improves the quality of life for those experiencing emotional or mental health conditions. 🐾 R2 is a Great Pyrenees a kind of livestock guardian dog. She was bred for the purpose of protecting livestock from predators. R2 works all night keeping predators and other wild animals away from the farm. 🐾 Both dogs enjoy similar hobbies including: naps, zoomies, supervising, going on hikes, swimming and getting lots of attention. We love our farm dogs. ♥️

“Tack” is the equestrian word for equipment like a saddle, bridle or reins. Before we ride, we “tack up”. When we’re finished, we “untack” our horse. The time we spend tacking and untacking our horse is bonding time and relationship building, but it’s also a lot of steps to learn. 📝 Ian set a goal this summer of learning to put on a bridle. 🐴 A bridle is made up of many parts that can be easily tangled or twisted. Putting it on a moving horse head adds to the level of difficulty, especially when putting a bit into a horse’s mouth. He practiced for weeks with Terroso to get it just right. 🐴 We’re so proud to announce: Ian has accomplished his goal! Now, Ian can tack up 100% independently.🎉
