📖Pages with Ponies🐴 is happening today (3-5pm) regardless of the weather. We will be in the barn and the indoor arena. Follow parking signs back the driveway as parking will be between the barn and the outdoor arena. If overflow parking is needed, cars can park in front of the house by the tree line. Can't wait to see you all! 🌼

Just a reminder about Pages with Ponies, a free event for kids taking place this Saturday Aug. 17 3pm-5pm. Kids can read books to our therapy ponies, participate in arts and crafts, meet our special guests, and enjoy light refreshments. See you there!

Star Equestrians is holding a volunteer training event on Friday, July 12th 6-8pm at the farm. If you are interested in helping as either a lead walker or side walker in lessons or hippotherapy sessions please come on out to the training. No horse experience required. Must be 14 or older to volunteer. Thank you and see you there!

If you’ve been to Star Equestrians in the past 20 years, it is likely that you met Jennifer (Jennie) Kopczyk at the farm. Jennie is back at Star Equestrians as an Occupational Therapist! Star Equestrians and Cindy are proud to team up with Jennie through Toy Box Occupational Therapy, LLC to offer occupational therapy services with hippotherapy. Hippotherapy uses equine movement to provide various motor and sensory input to the patient. Skillfully directed equine movement, under the direction of a licensed therapist can offer the patient an opportunity for complex motor learning. It can promote engagement of the sensory, neuromotor, and cognitive systems as well as improved balance, coordination, and motor skills to assist in reaching functional outcomes.
