Critter Haven, Inc. is a non-profit organization. Critter Haven goes beyond being merely a rescue group and is a true cat refuge.

At Critter Haven, Inc., we aim to: 1) educate the public as to the necessity of spaying and neutering pets; 2) rescue abandoned and abused pets, and adopt them out to approved homes; 3) provide veterinary care for said abandoned pets including but not limited to spaying, neutering and vaccinations; 4) work closely with other rescue groups to better help the rescued pet and the community through education, fundraisers, etc.

Critter Haven is hosting a Chicken barbecue and baked sale on Saturday, April 6 at the Sherando Ruritan building.

The Critter Haven Group will be at Apple Days in Waynesboro on October 2 selling chicken BBQ halves and Chicken meals. First come first serve. There will be lots of vendors there to do your Christmas shopping. Stop by and see us and help out our critters.

Dreams do come true!

Thanks to many people who helped, Critter Haven's "cat house " has gotten some much needed improvements. The first room has been remodeled and the cats now have an outside exercise area. Critter Haven's president, Vicky Paugh, and the members of Critter Haven Rescue Group, would like to thank Chad Tingler and Brian Shifflett for all the hard work they put into making this dream come true. Also, much thanks goes to Rebecca Wilson and Anita Lewis for donations of the needed materials.

PLEASE BE AWARE, DON'T DRIVE OVER BAGS IN THE ROAD!!!
This time of year, open all the plastic bags, insulated cardboard boxes met. When you see on the road a bag with the impression that it contains something, don't ride on it but stop by to check the content.
Open your ears and eyes on the edge of the ditches, waste, collective garbage, whether in town or in the countryside.
