Are you a music connoisseur? Want to have access to an exclusive private performance that will elevate your senses? ๐ถ You cannot miss meeting Kitty at the WHS Door County Campus.
This 9-year-old feline artist has decided it's time for her to start her solo career, as she would prefer not to share the stage and would be most comfortable as the only cat in the house. She can be a bit shy at first, but not for long, as you can see (and hear!).
Come by our shelter during adoption hours, and let yourself be serenaded by Kitty:

Meet Kenzi!
Could Kenzi be your new best friend? She is 7 years old, weighs just 37lbs, and has the biggest smile ๐ Active and full of life, fetch is Kenziโs favorite activity! Despite a previously dislocated elbow, as you can see she is comfortable and the limb has shown good range of motion. After playtime, she is ready to settle in and snuggle for the night. She would do best as the only pet in the home where her humans can spend lots of time with her due to separation anxiety. Like all dogs at WHS, Kenzi is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, plus her adopters will receive a certificate for a free vet exam. If you think Kenzi might be your new best friend, make an adoption appointment at the WHS Door County Campus today! https://waitwhile.com/welcome/whsdoorcounty

We are so excited to introduce you to this sweet soul who has quickly become a staff favorite ๐ Sheba is a 7-year-old dog patiently waiting for a new home at our Door County Campus. While shy in new situations and when meeting people, after some time, patience (and a few treats), youโll soon win her over. Once sheโs comfortable, she will gladly accept pets and butt scratches! Due to her fearful nature, Sheba would do best in a quiet home with older children who can respect her boundaries. At nearly 60lbs, Sheba is a bit overweight and would love to be your new walking buddy! If you think she might be a good match for your family, please make an appointment at our Door County Campus to meet with an adoption counselor to learn more: https://app.waitwhile.com/book/whsdoorcounty. During your meeting, they will give you information on how to successfully do slow introductions to any resident dogs in the home. She would also be perfectly content with being your one and only furry friend!
Like all dogs at WHS, she is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, plus her adopter will receive a certificate for a free vet exam, a starter bag of food, and a lifetime of behavior support - now all she needs is you! ๐ถ

Support Bottle Babies | Wisconsin Humane Society
โฅ How to make a big impact for our tiniest guests โฅ
More than 1,000 kittens and puppies flood through our doors each year. Orphaned newborns are especially vulnerable. Without help, hundreds of these babies would simply not make it. Thankfully, our truly heroic foster parents rise to the challenge. WHS provides the supplies, vet check-ups, and medical assistance. They provide the love, patience, and comfort.
In their homes, foster parents hand-feed the babies every 2 to 3 hours, through busy days and long nights. They weigh them daily on kitchen scales to make sure theyโre growing. They keep the kittens warm and clean. They do a ton of laundry. All in hopes that most of the babies will survive.
It takes a lot of resources to support these little ones โ neonatal nursery supplies include specialized formula, heating pads, scales, bottles, and more. Our foster team works hard to support the foster parents, and our veterinary team performs regular check-ups and triages urgent issues.
Left alone in the shelter, these kittens and puppies would not survive the night. But with your help, we can give these babies a fighting chance. Would you consider helping with a gift of any size? To make a donation, please click here https://bit.ly/HelpBottleBabies. Thank you so much for your consideration โค
