It is with deep sadness that we share the news that our sweet boy, Rip, the only sire in our mini Aussie breeding program, has passed away.

Despite taking monthly tic- killing medications and being vaccinated, he was diagnosed with a tic-borne illness that he was unable to recover from. He had lost all of his leg function by the end, he put up a good fight for two months on antibiotics and prednisone. I had been so selfish and it just wasn't fair to keep him in that hell of a condition any longer.

If you have an aussie from our family, please give them a little extra love and know that you now have half of a fur baby that I would do anything to have back forever!

We ask that you keep our family, particularly Sawyer, in your prayers. He is devastated, and as a mom, it's heartbreaking to hear your son crying himself to sleep.

Rippo, you are forever our hippo.You're the one I want to see at the gate. My arms will be ready to catch you buddy.
