Dear Valued Customer of Custom Feed Mill:
For over 40 years, Custom Feed Mill has been serving outstanding customers such as yourself. We pride ourselves on producing and selling quality products that are good for your animals and help improve your profitability. We are incredibly grateful for you, our customers. So, to start this letter, we want to say THANK YOU!
We also wanted to let you know about some changes that are occurring at Custom Feed Mill. Don’t worry, we aren’t going anywhere; however, we are making a few changes.
First of all, we would like to extend our sincerest appreciation to Walter Clancy on all his many years of service. Walter will be retiring at the end of the month, having worked tirelessly for over 40 years in the feed industry. Walter will be missed around the office, but we wish him and his family the very best in retirement. We would also like to congratulate Amanda Taylor on being promoted to General Manager. Amanda has been supporting Walter behind the scenes for 17 years, and we know she will do a great job continuing to serve our customers! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Amanda at 270-997-1681 or [email protected].
Second, we would like to let you know that Custom Feed Mill will be changing its name in August. The new name will be Kentucky Feed and Equine Supply, LLC. Don’t be alarmed when you see invoices and other documents with that name on it. We will also be changing our business address to the address of our new offices in Sturgis KY, which is: 10811 KY-109, Sturgis, KY 42459. The phone number will remain the same: (270) 374-3007 or (270) 374-3008. As part of the business name change, we will need a new credit application filled out by September 1st. Attached to this letter you will find an updated credit application. If you could fill this out and send it in, we would greatly appreciate it.
Lastly, we wanted to let you know that in the near future (by Sept 1), we will no longer be blending commodities in our commodity blending facility in Morganfield. Due to the cost of repairs that are required to keep this facility operational, we have decided that the best course of action is to shut the facility down. We will continue to source, transport, and sell bulk commodities for all of our customers, we just won’t be able to blend them. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but hope that we can continue to earn your business and supply you with high quality commodities.
This change does not affect our retail bag business at all. All of the retail products that you are accustomed to buying will still be available, and we are excited to continue to grow our offerings to you.
If you have any questions regarding these changes, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We appreciate your business and look forward to serving you for many years to come.
Sincerely,
The Custom Feed Mill / Kentucky Equine Feed and Supply Team
