We have two events coming up this month, we do have some stalls and RV hookups for anyone who would like to come in and spend the weekend. Saturday we can have an open arena and also allow you to send a few through the chutes. There are plenty of places to ride and places to go if you’d like a low key day between races. Please message the page if you’d like a stall or hookup.

First we’d like to thank everyone that has come and supported our races this season and a big thanks to all of our sponsors. We’d also like to thank Kevin Clark and Midland Barrels for again supporting us for this event.
This is the first post of many for events next season. We’re starting it off with the announcement of our estimated $45,000 All Gas No Brakes High Stakes Slot Race. It will be taking place at the Fonda fairgrounds once again, on October 13, 2024.
For all current slot owners, a slot retention payment of $100.00 is due by Dec 31st. This DOES go towards your $500.00 entry fee. You can then follow the payment plan that starts on the 1st of February or pay in full.
If any slots become available the call in day will be February 1st (we will have an announcement/post) payment in full or your first payment will be required at call in.
We will be having barrel racing all Columbus Day weekend at the fairgrounds along with some fun races and we’re also working on bringing you something special. All races except the slot race on Columbus Day weekend are pending WPRA sanctioning along with being sanctioned NBHA NY04.
Our Thursday Night Series will be incorporated into this Columbus Day weekend by having a side pot exclusively for riders who enter and run for points on Thursday nights buckle series.
You can message the Ames Arena page with any inquiries about payments for your slots. All payments this year will be accepted Venmo/PayPal or cash
We will have plenty more information to give you as we start the new year. We look forward to bringing you another great season of events along with one of the largest estimated single day payouts in New York barrel racing.
While Aaden was holding down the fort at Midland we rounded up a few riders to put his handy work to the test.
We emptied the barn of all but one training horse. It just so happened that a neighbor was having a large party with lights music and plenty of people. We stopped in and all the horses handled the exposure to something new with ease. #partycrashers
Bella….. where do we begin? She’s only seen a pattern three times, this being her third time. She’s our go to when we want to try something new and she’s gives her all. The kid has been working hard on his training horses and deserved to have a break and some fun. We figured we’d throw her in the trailer and see what she’s got. For never being off farm and only 1 trailer ride she handled the weekend like a pro.
The kid had a short vacation at the NBHA state show. Came home and hasn’t missed a beat. These two buckskins are NICE!

The weather yesterday afternoon was nothing short of impressive. Wind, hail and a insane amount of rain. We would of rather of seen horses running in the arena with blue skys, but we settled for Aaden
