The High Valley Hanoverians team braved taking FIVE client yearlings to the Young Horse Series (YHS) Show at Le Bonheur Equestrian in Chatsworth, Georgia last weekend. We are so proud of each of these brave yearlings who experienced their first competition, their first overnight stabling, and also braved the TUNNEL between the stables and the competition arenas. We knew these yearlings were well prepared and good partners, but we were absolutely blown away by their composure in walking as a team through the scary tunnel. The last set were led in dual by trainer Olivia Torres since we were short handed. SO PROUD of these kids!

We are pleased to post a progress video of Inspiration HVH (aka Spirit), a smart and talented 2022 black Hanoverian mare by Influencer EDI (Asgard's Ibiza) x HPM Santa Fe (St. Moritz).
Spirit has been raised in the HVH Training Methodology "Developing Warmblood Athletes in the Mind & the Body" to prepare her for a future performance career. As a foal she was handled daily to establish good ground manners. As a weanling and through her yearling year, Spirit enjoyed 2x weekly private "Training Games" sessions with HVH resident trainers to develop a joy for the training process. (Spirit was the winner of the Yearling Filly group at the annual "HVH Training Games Olympics"!) Now as a (coming) 2 year old, Spirit's training will become much more intentional to develop numerous skills that will benefit her a year or so from now when she will be started under saddle (the HVH zero-drama backing process).

We are pleased to show off the talents of Heartbreaker BWS, a black 2023 Hanoverian colt by EH Herzendieb x Pr. Carlotta II, bred by Kate Dressel at Blackwatch Stable.
Handsome Heartbreaker (what a great name!) was enrolled in the HVH Young Horse Raising program just shy of 2 months ago. He came to us very nicely handled and during the past few weeks has developed Partnership @ Liberty (no lead line) and also quiet free schooling. He is handled in this video by HVH Apprentice Trainer Johanna Coupe.

Here is a video of Cefira, a 2022 Rose Gray Zangersheid Mare by Casquino x Grafite N' Lace (Graf Top) bred and owned by Megan Paget-Brown. Cefira was born and has been raised at HVH to develop her into a future performance horse via the HVH Training Methodology "Developing Warmblood Athletes in the Mind & the Body".
