Move Your Pawz is an individualized running service aimed at improving your dog's physical and mental health and quality of life

MYP was founded in October 2020 by Jessica Garcia. Jessica has a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from Rutgers University and is licensed in NY and NJ. She has been practicing since 1991 specializing in orthopedics and sports medicine; treating all populations from children to professional athletes. She began running in 2011 as a healthy outlet. Since that time she has completed 7 marathons

(including NYC and Chicago). 25+ half marathons, a triathalon and spartan run. She has been a certified run coach and has also used that to train young girls in an empowerment program. As an avid runner she knows how therapeutic running can be to all.. Move Your Paws was designed to provide dogs with a similar outlet so they could attain good physical and mental health. While volunteering at a local animal shelter she saw how stressful shelter life was for many of the dogs and how this was further complicated by a lack of physical activity. She developed a running program for these shelter dogs and the benefits were significant. The dogs were more relaxed, had better leash skills, had an improved appearance and overall were much happier. MYP strives to bring the same experience to your dogs. We believe in treating our customers, both the four and two legged with love and kindness to achieve our ultimate goal of a healthy and happy dog.

Congratulations Moxie on completing your first run with us!! Moxie is a young Australian cattle dog Catahoula leopard pup. She has good leash manners but lots of energy. Running is a great outlet for that energy and she’s a natural!! Looking forward to our future runs

Join us in welcoming our newest runners, Kayak and Yacht. They are Alaskan sled dogs that have run the Iditarod multiple times. Needless to say these two love running in this chilly weather and will keep us moving

🎉🎉🎉Big News🎉🎉🎉 Move Your Pawz is ecstatic to announce that we have added a superstar to our run group. This girl has run 500+ miles over the last two years (she also Paddleboards, kayaks and hikes). Finally after 2 years at the shelter she is right where she belongs in her furever home! Welcome Storm⛈ 🐶 ❤️

The more the merrier.... welcome to our first siblings Grunt and Daisy💕 Grunt (L) is a 7yo hound Shepard mix and Daisy is a 5yo pittie mix. These two make running fun and interesting, Grunt is more of a distance runner and Daisy has a sprint gear. We look forward to many miles with these cuties 🐶
