🚨 VERY URGENT MEDICAL FOSTER PLEA 🚨

We are urgently seeking an experienced medical foster for Goofy, whose skin conditions have been increasingly worsening. The stress of living in the shelter environment has made his health deteriorate at such an alarming rate.

Goofy was originally in a foster home, where he gained weight and his itchy skin improved. When it was in both Goofy and the foster family's best interest for Goofy to come back to the facility, he came back ready to find his forever home and we were all hopeful his loving personality would get him into a new home quickly.

Unfortunately, Goofy's condition has declined again at a very unexpected rate and he is in desperate need of a foster who is capable of handling medication and is available for vet appointments. Goofy's skin also needs very frequent attention as we work through his skin issues.

Goofy is not yet neutered (due to the medication he is currently on) and is utd on vaccines. He is very loving towards people and other pets and would fit best in a calmer foster home as he heals. Meet and greets with current dogs in the home are required before fostering.

We need a shed like this put together ASAP! It’s for the rescue animals at the Portsmouth Humane Society. Please private message me.

When our shelter first moved to our location on Seaboard Court, the wonderful and amazing SteelMaster Buildings donated this substantial shed for our storage needs.
As our shelter and programs have grown, we've had an increased need for storage.

SteelMaster have been long-time supporters of the shelter, sponsoring our annual Golf Tournament and additional support every year. This year, they donated ANOTHER SUBSTANTIAL shed - which we desperately need to store supplies for foster families and to make more space for the animals in the building.

Our very wonderful and dedicated Shelter Vet, Dr. Attia, owner of Pungo Veterinary Clinic, did a fundraiser and matched the donations she raised, to cover the cost of the cement pad required to build the shed.

The final piece of the puzzle is for someone to BUILD the shed. We're in serious need of a company to hire to build this massive storage shed to give us more flexibility within our building. Do you know a company that could do something like these? We have the instruction booklet!
