💧 Managing Your Dog’s Dry Skin This Winter 🐕✨
As winter settles in, dry skin can be an issue for many dogs. Cold air, indoor heating, and less humidity can lead to itchy, flaky skin and an uncomfortable pup. Here are some tips to keep your dog’s skin and coat healthy and happy:
Brush Daily: Regular brushing helps remove loose hair and flakes of dry skin, while also stimulating the production of natural oils. This promotes a healthy coat and skin by distributing those oils evenly. Breeds with thick undercoats like Golden Retrievers or Pomeranians may need brushing more often during the winter to keep their skin from drying out.
