It’s that time for our patient of the month 👏🏻🎉🩷

This month is it sweet Molly!! Here is her bio from mom:

Molly is a 10 year old Shih Tzu we rescued 9 years ago. A week later we were called about rescuing one of her puppies Maggie. Needless to say we came home with her as well. Molly is a sweet loving girl who is her human mom's shadow. She gets so excited when I come home for the day she hops up and down and smiles.

When laying on the sofa with me, she always has to be touching me. She is an excellent mom to her baby Maggie, always concerned about her, but will give her a sharp bark if she is doing something wrong. She and Maggie get into a growling contest most afternoons and runaround chasing each other. Molly is such a joy and we are thankful we rescued her!

Meet Nellie, our Patient of the Month! This spirited hound has captured the hearts of everyone at the clinic with her endless enthusiasm and charm. ❤️💕❤️💕

Here is her bio from mom:

We adopted Nellie about six years ago through the Gwinnett Jail Dogs program. She came to us scared of pretty much everything but quickly became a wonderful, loving part of our family. Nellie loves taking long walks in the woods, sniffing everything in her path, lying outside in the sun with her stuffed animals, meeting other dogs, and cuddling with her people. Oh- and treats! She will do just about anything for a treat or piece of cheese! We love her dearly!

Is Theo! Here is a biography from mom:

Theo is a 4 year old red tri miniature Australian Shepherd. We got Theo in March of 2020, right when the world shut down due to covid. Theo quickly became the best companion through the world’s hard times. Theo loves to play with his ball, run at the park, cuddle his mom and dad, & lives for treats! Theo loves to go to the park, go for walks, and make a weekly trip to Home Depot! He is extremely smart and knows a lot of tricks! He loves pup cups, hates thunderstorms, and has lots of love to give!

In January, Theo will be promoted to a big brother! We are excited to see how protective and loving he will be to his new little sister! We love Theo so much and he truly is the best dog in the world!

This is Bug 🐞 She is a 16 week old kitten who was found in the bushes and brought. She is a sweet but little spicy 🌶️ kitty who needs lots of love and affection. Her favorite thing to do is perch on your shoulder and play with your hair!!

Our adoption fee is $150 and it includes age appropriate vaccines, spay, up to date Heartworm flea and tick prevention and all the snuggles you could ask for!

Today we are celebrating a huge milestone for our very own Monica 🥳🎉👏🏻🎊🙌🏻 She has been with us for 12 years and has been an important part of our journey to where we are now. Who else remembers us in the Publix shopping center?

We are growing!!! Can everyone take a moment to say HELLO 👋🏻 to our new veterinarian Dr. Ashley? 🐈‍⬛🐈🐕🦮🐩 We are thrilled to have added a 4th vet to our roster and she is now open for appointments! Here is a little information about her:

Dr. Ashley joined us in June 2024 after graduating from UGA in May. When we met Ashley, we knew she would be a wonderful addition to our LAH family! She has worked in the industry for many years prior to starting her second career as a veterinarian. Ashley loves preventative and internal medicine and surgery. She enjoys family time with her husband and son and in her spare time you can find her running 5k races, crocheting or cheering on the GA Bulldawgs! Although Ashely doesn’t have any pets yet, we know working with us, she will be bringing home a much needed rescue very soon!

Kitten season is still here! We are highlighting Tippy and Moose today to try and help them find their furrrrrever home 🐈‍⬛ 🐈‍⬛ the tabby Munchkin has already been adopted!

Tippy (black kitty with white tip tail!) is a 14 week old female who’s favorite activities are to make biscuits 🍞 and play with her brother.

Moose (black kitty with very few white hairs) is Tippy’s brother whose favorite activity is posing for the camera 📸!

Both are fixed, microchipped, Felv/FIV tested (negative) and up to date on their age appropriate vaccines.
