Lanier Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinary hospital located in the Sugar Hill and Buford region, near the southern shores of Lake Lanier. We provide healthcare services primarily for dogs and cats, focusing on preventive medicine and wellness visits. We also offer grooming 6 days a week and have a beautiful resort with luxury and deluxe boarding. Hours of Operation:

The 2024 LAH Open House exceeded our expectations! We enjoyed the opportunity to reunite with cherished clients and welcome new families with their adorable pets. Our vendors provided an impressive spread of food, and our staff did an outstanding job with the decorations and Santa photos, making it a memorable day for everyone.

It’s that time to celebrate 🎉 our pet of the month ❤️

Strider is a unique kitty 🐈‍⬛ that we love very much! Here is his bio from mom:

Strider is a 16.5-year-old rescue that had a very rough start in life. When we adopted him (in June 2008), we discovered he, and seven other rescue kitties, had contracted Panleukopenia. It is only through the tireless efforts of Dr. Mavis and her amazing staff that he survived. While he is a very difficult patient when he goes to the vet, he is a very sweet boy when he is at home. He is a typical house cat that believes, with all his heart and soul, that he is underfed. He knows that he rules the house and we just exist to serve his every need, which, for his Mom’s part, is pretty true 😊

It’s that time for our patient of the month 👏🏻🎉🩷

This month is it sweet Molly!! Here is her bio from mom:

Molly is a 10 year old Shih Tzu we rescued 9 years ago. A week later we were called about rescuing one of her puppies Maggie. Needless to say we came home with her as well. Molly is a sweet loving girl who is her human mom's shadow. She gets so excited when I come home for the day she hops up and down and smiles.

When laying on the sofa with me, she always has to be touching me. She is an excellent mom to her baby Maggie, always concerned about her, but will give her a sharp bark if she is doing something wrong. She and Maggie get into a growling contest most afternoons and runaround chasing each other. Molly is such a joy and we are thankful we rescued her!

Meet Nellie, our Patient of the Month! This spirited hound has captured the hearts of everyone at the clinic with her endless enthusiasm and charm. ❤️💕❤️💕

Here is her bio from mom:

We adopted Nellie about six years ago through the Gwinnett Jail Dogs program. She came to us scared of pretty much everything but quickly became a wonderful, loving part of our family. Nellie loves taking long walks in the woods, sniffing everything in her path, lying outside in the sun with her stuffed animals, meeting other dogs, and cuddling with her people. Oh- and treats! She will do just about anything for a treat or piece of cheese! We love her dearly!
