😻 Bakerton Update!!

We can’t thank everyone enough for donating!! Whatever this sweet boy needs, he’s getting, thanks to you!! His road to recovery and getting healthy won’t be easy but we are committed to doing everything to get him there 💕

SHAH Family-WE NEED YOUR HELP!! We never ask for donations but Bakerton needs you!!

While driving downtown Sugar Hill (near the bakery) this sweet boy crossed in front of our Hospital Director. She immediately did a U-Turn to try and get him. With some help of can food and sweet talking we got him! We would show you before pictures but they are far too sad. Bakerton was bleeding from his mouth and had mats hanging off him everywhere. We sedated him and cleaned up his mouth. He was so matted with flea dirt we almost couldn’t get our clippers through it. He is currently on antibiotics for his mouth and will receive a dental in the next few days where he sadly will need to loose all his teeth. He will also need to be neutered. His poor ear is crumpled from trauma to top it off. And, he only weighs 5.5lbs. It is truly heartbreaking.

We usually don’t take in older cats that need care but this sweet boy needed us! We have limited funds saved for our kitten program to pull from to help continue to help this sweet boy. We are asking for even the smallest of donations to help with Bakerton.

**people ruin everything at some point-someone set up a Venmo pretending to be Jessica with Bakertons picture. That is not correct!! We are working on reporting it now.

Sweet and snuggly Marshall is the last kitten left looking for his forever family.
We know he just looks like every other tabby, but he is so snuggly and silly!! Marshall is so close to actually playing fetch! And the second you sit down, he will be in your lap for pets 💕
Please help us get this amazing boy the best family he deserves! We feel so bad that he is all alone now!!

Young animals are like kids–it’s a never-ending job to keep them safe and happy. Vaccinating your pet is a very important way to protect his or her health. In addition to preventing many life-threatening illnesses, vaccinations can prevent diseases prevalent in wildlife and those that can be passed to humans. It’s important to administer vaccinations when pets are puppies and kittens because their young immune systems are still developing and need protection to stay healthy.
