We're looking for candidates for our Monday dog camp! During our adventures, pack members are trained to walk off-leash, starting by using a long line on hiking trails in a beautiful outdoor setting. Dogs will flex their skills in impulse control, coming when called, car & door etiquette, and socialization. It's a great way to enrich your dog's life! Sugar Pups LLC is seeking private land to lease 2-4 days a week for about 2 hours a day for our dog camp program. Land is ideally within 60 minutes from Sugar Mountain, NC, have a water source, mixed land of forest and fields, trails or old logging roads, and be 30+ acres. Dog camp is an outdoor alternative to doggie day care where a small group of pups get to hit the trail to practice basic obedience and recall skills, while playing with other dogs in the great outdoors. We limit number of dogs on trail and screen and evaluate dogs prior to ensure they are suitable for camp. All dogs are up to date on vaccinations. Sugar Pups is licensed, insured, and bonded, and land owner will not be held liable for dogs while on your land. Dog waste will be picked up. In return we can offer dog camp for your pet if a suitable candidate, help with trail maintenance, and/or monetary compensation for use.
