Ever wondered how we pick our litter themes? I have a running list of ideas in my notes app, but I try to make the themes meaningful either to me or the day they were born. We have two new rainbow litters (4 different colors in the bunch), and with last weekend being the kick off for the Christmas season, Georgia and Magnum’s kids are the Christmas Cookie litter. Sydney and Thunder’s kids, born a few days later, are going to be Olympic host city names. Sydney was born during the “2020” summer games, which actually took place in 2021, so I wanted to go with that theme for hers. Sydney is named after multiple track gold medalist and world record holder, Sydney McGlaughlin—one of my favorite athletes of all time!
