I was trying to offer help for her rat that I can't take in. Left for 24 hours on read once then left on read the second time 48 hours. Also in the past I have said yes and she denied the help. I love to help but people need to be aware I'm helping the rat as well. So please be kind and sort priorities before adopting any animal. And let people know what is going on.
This woman's name is Ayme Smith and I'd highly advice not or be careful letting her purchase or adopt.

Single old baby needing a loving home in San Antonio ❤️

FOSTER FOUND♥️ THANK YOU EVERYONE.

Looking for a long term foster for 2+ year old male. He's very sweet and loves people. His cage mate had to be taken for euthanisia immediately upon surrender and intros have been very stressful for him, even with spayed females. He gets beat up on very easily and is always on edge. We don't condone the keeping of single rats but there are rare exceptions and Dean is one of those rare cases. He's much older and the stress of intros is wearing on him. Looking for someone that can give him LOTS of attention that as a rescue we can't always give a singleton. He's very content sitting in your lap and boggles and wags his tail when you pet him! Cage and supplies will be provided. Please contact us if interested. Must be located in San Antonio. This is a FOSTER commitment not an adoption ♥️

With a lot of questionable practice of rats being brought up lately, I wanted to state this rattery doesn't support any surgical practices without a medical expert. I believe rats, and all animals have thoughts and feelings just like us and wouldn't assume or believe any living creature cannot feel pain.
With that being said please do your research when adopting animals. Not all have the same belief system and that is okay, but harming any animals because assumed lack of pain is another thing. This rattery has currently paused breeding but can still recommend rescues to visit. As well as any husbandry advice.

A couple completed shunamite mixes I've made. I love being able to provide a more enriching food to my rats. Their mood has improved significantly as well as other physical benefits since on this diet.

This always breaks my heart to see. Why I urge others to adopt in trios.

PSA to those who only have TWO rats!
PLAN AHEAD! What does that mean? Don’t wait for your one rat to pass away to message me needing another rat friend ASAP. It’s irresponsible and unfair to not plan ahead, when your rats reach around a year old, you should be adding another pair to your group. And continuing to do this. So no rats end up alone! I cannot tell you how many messages I get of “my rat passed away and now she/he’s alone I need a rat asap!” It hurts my heart, I don’t readily have rats available. It’s not fair to me or your rats to wait to contact a breeder, with responsible ones having long waitlists.
If your rats are getting older, contact a responsible breeder now to create your rolling group.
