For all of my doodle parents! This is an excellent video showing you the proper way to brush your fur baby to keep matting to a minimum!

When they have mats it’s not just annoying for you, it can also cause skin issues like hotspots. Matting on the ears interferes with blood flow and can be uncomfortable. We can see the relief on a dogs face when ear matting is removed. It can also initially be uncomfortable, like the feeling when your feet fall asleep.

In an effort the help keep our furry family members safe and healthy and Due to the respiratory illness that is moving through the US. I’m asking you to please let us know if your dog has traveled outside of Louisiana before bringing them to us so that we can schedule appointments to avoid contact with our dogs and others. And allow us to take extra sanitization precautions.

While the UC Davis veterinary hospital has yet to see any patients for a mysterious canine respiratory illness spreading nationwide, veterinarians throughout the country are working collaboratively to determine exactly what may be causing the numerous illnesses.
