Just a reminder with spring here and Easter near, many of these plants are given as gifts and should NEVER be where a cat can get near them.

Don’t fluffing buy a bunny for Easter.
You didn’t buy the pony for their birthday.
You didn’t buy a reindeer at Christmas.
They didn’t get a real pot of gold at St Patrick’s.

Bunnies eat like a horse. They chew like dogs. They dig like gophers. They have sass like cats. They can get heat stroke easily but also become hypothermic if made wet. They need endless supplies of grass and hay but should not be left outside because they have the survival instinct of 6 month old human. They can’t tell the difference between cabbage and rubber, but they will turn up their noses at pellets that have been open for more than a day. They crave snuggles and attention but don’t want to be picked up or approached. They’re as stubborn as a baboon and creative problem solvers when they want something. They make lifelong bonds and can literally die from a broken heart. They hide their pain but their medical care can be more than yours.

They are not toys. They are sentient. They are family members to cherish and care for for up to 10-18 years. You want to adopt? That’s great! You want something cuddly and cute? Buy a plush toy.

Easter is coming- DONT BUY YOUR KIDS A BUNNY especially if you don’t have time space and money for them.

🐰Bunnies don’t belong caged 24/7, they love to have space to play & lounge.
🐰They don’t all litter train and do well inside.
🐰they chew wires
🐰they love to burrow and dig (they can’t do that in cages)
🐰they don’t all get along so you can’t just throw them together
🐰male and female will make babies, repeatedly, even if you don’t want them to

I’m just asking you to research before you purchase! They are cute, sometimes cuddly, and do not deserve to be caged and neglected in two months.

I washed all the dog toys in the dishwasher today.

Yes, I then washed the dishwasher.
