Wes Moore opened Alligator Alley in 2004 as a sanctuary for rescued “nuisance” alligators, giving them a safe, natural habitat in Summerdale, AL. These gators, often removed for getting too comfortable around people, now thrive in a beautiful, protected environment. Visiting Alligator Alley is an adventure you won’t forget—get up close with over 700 rescued gators! 🐊

New Hours: Open 10-4, closed Wednesdays.
