Hi all,
Just a quick post to let you all know I am actually taking a week off in September. It will be September 5 to 12. I haven't taken any time off since the track trip in Feb.2020 and I'm not getting any younger.
I have no idea what I'm going to do yet but it won't involve greyhounds LOL!

Hope to see alot of you before and after.

Just a quick question
Being a Virgo and OCD I can't figure out how this happened but I have a dog named Honey on my July schedule. The problem is I have no record of the owner or any communication for this dog. I ask new clients to email me so I have a record but I don't have one. Please contact me by email if this is your dog

The month of May has taken another of my long time boarders. Caesar Carr got his wings today. He was just here last Friday and scheduled for this weekend but it was not to be. Caesar was as spoiled as a hound could be.😀I got a kick when Don would say he would be getting Caesar a McDonalds burger on the way home. He will be missed. Angel Wings Caesar🌈🌈

Hi all, I made it through 2020 barely. I'm going to have to see how these first few months go to make a decision on keeping my business going.
My first boarder was 08/10/07 and things just grew from then. I've been doing this for a long time and enjoyed it immensely.
This year has been a different story. I've had many of my long term boarders cross the bridge and for the first time ever I have not had one new boarder in 2020. I attribute this mostly to the GFNC kennel closing. I used to get alot of referrals from the staff and now that source is gone.
I made 1/2 of what I made in 2019 in 2020. I sure hope things pick up.
Well, enough of this I'm looking forward to things picking up this year because I'd hate to see my greyhounds disappear. I love these dogs and hope to see many this year. Happy New Year to you all 🍾🎉

Sweet Boo with the bug eyes !

This is a sad day. One of my longest boarders "Boo" crossed the bridge today. She did it on her own terms while asleep at home. I first watched Boo on June 20, 2011. That's 11 years . She knew the routine , which bed she wanted to sleep on etc. She was just so darn sweet. I will really miss having her visit. She will be together with her housemates Marisol and Class once again.

I'm back! Just thought I'd say hello. It's been awhile since I've had anything to write about. LOL
My schedule is filling up again and things are almost back to normal. Coal and I have to get used to having other dogs around again. It's been just him and I for quite awhile. I've got Justine, Runner, Poppet, and Caesar this week. Unfortunately I only have pictures of Caesar. I've fallen back on taking pictures. It's such a hassle to get them from my phone to my pictures on my computer. I'm sure there is an easier way but I don't know it. 😀 This is Caesar. Glad to be back!!!

Just thought I'd say "hello" and let you know I'm still around. Coal and I have had a visitor named Yancy for about two weeks. I'm fostering him for Greyhound Crossroads. Coal is not used to being alone so I thought I'd give fostering a try. Yancy does have a potential adopter coming to visit on Saturday. Wish him luck. I'm hoping things might start to get back to normal by the middle or end of May. Things could get sticky around here if it lasts much longer. The picture is Coal and Yancy. Hope you all are staying safe and hope to see you and your hounds in the future.
