A huge congratulations to Mason Sredl and Chunky for an unbelievable end to their very first 4H show season together. Qualifying for local zone show, state, and then moving onto the final regional show that took place in Perry Georgia this past week. Mason and Chunky competed in Western Horsemanship, Trail, and Pleasure. Unlike all the qualifying shows, 10 year old Mason had to compete with kids across 13 states and up to 18 years of age with 60-72 participants per class. Mason and Chunky far surpassed our expectations, earning a top 10 in horsemanship, Top 5 in trail. And after 4 splits, the judge picked the top 15 kids to come back to compete in the evening for western pleasure finals. Mason and Chunky had a beautiful go and were placed FIRST and Class Champions out of 60 kids!!!
To say Iβm proud of these two would be an understatement. Mason, the amount of natural talent you have to ride is unbelievable. That paired with your hard work, riding almost every day has brought you here. I push you to be better, but I promise you do the same for me. This success would not have been possible without such an amazing team we have built.
Thanks to Grand Oaks and the entire staff for providing such an amazing facility to train out of. Ryan, without you, there would be none of this. Your selflessness and your drive makes me strive to be better every single day. Myself, nor this business would be what it is without you.
Merry Sharp, without your giving heart, none of this would have been possible. For you to allow this family the chance to have such an amazing animal, at a time their life when so much hope was lost speaks volumes of your character. And you literally gave Keri a third and favorite son πβ₯οΈ
And to the entire Sredl family, it has been such a highlight in my life to work so closely with you, and to become my closest friends/family. Braden thank you so much for helping working so hard at the barn, and it has been such a pleasure watching you make your way into roping, I see so much success in your future. Your work ethic is unmatched and unbelievable for someone so young. Ricky, to watch your dedication not only as a father, but to your craft as a farrier has been an honor. You are teaching these boys that hard work yields success, not only with words but by example.
Last but certainly not least, Keri, your dedication to our business, your boys, and to Chunky is so unbelievably admirable. You work tirelessly for the well being of your boys, Chunky, and for the business. There is not even a word in the English language to express my gratitude β₯οΈ
Cheers to the end of an amazing show season, and many more to come.
