Many people only discuss and focus on the males behind a pedigree or of the current dog winning, but it has always been my assertion that the females should carry more weight. 🙂 Here are Beast’s mom “Sabrina” grandmother “Serena” (MCOA specialty BOW) and his great grandmother “Stella”. Most of these show photos were from when they were very young, but all of them added quite a bit of width with maturity (see last 2 photos)

Please do not buy. Throw them away if your dog gets one as a gift. Giving rawhide to a dog is never a good idea.
Many of these so called treats end up with the dog “enjoying” some time in a veterinary surgery over Christmas. The vast majority of these rawhide products and treats come from China.
The chews are made from cattle or horse hides and their journey starts with the hides being soaked in a toxic sodium sulfide to remove the hair and fat. More chemicals are used in order to split the hide into layers which is then washed with hydrogen peroxide to give the white “pure” look and remove the rancid smell.
Now comes the pretty festive colors and the glue to form cute shapes. On testing, these chews have shown traces of arsenic, mercury, chromium and formaldehyde.
If that wasn’t bad enough, they regularly cause intestinal blockages, poisoning from chemical residue and choking. The chews go slippery when wet and are near impossible to get hold of to save a choking dog.

When you get your 8 week old puppies, please keep these images in mind. Their bones do not even touch yet. They plod around so cutely with big floppy paws and wobbly movement because their joints are entirely made up of muscle, tendons, ligaments with skin covering. Nothing is fitting tightly together or has a true socket yet.
When you run them excessively or don't restrict their exercise to stop them from overdoing it during this period you don't give them a chance to grow properly. Every big jump or excited bouncing run causes impacts between the bones. In reasonable amounts this is not problematic and is the normal wear and tear that every animal will engage in.
When you're letting your puppy jump up and down off the lounge or bed, take them for long walks/hikes, you are damaging that forming joint. When you let the puppy scramble on tile with no traction you are damaging the joint.
You only get the chance to grow them once. A well built body is something that comes from excellent breeding and a great upbringing-BOTH, not just one.
Once grown you will have the rest of their life to spend playing and engaging in higher impact exercise. So keep it calm while they're still little baby puppies and give the gift that can only be given once.

Impeccable Mastiffs- Mastiffs for the Discriminating & Puppy Referral Service
NEW PUPPIES BORN OCT. 26th!
Hello there big dog lover! I’ve been involved with Mastiffs for over 25 years now and have raised, shown and bred some very impressive and healthy dogs! I will be adding more pics and helpful Mastiff information every so often. Please feel free to IM me or email us at [email protected]
I met my fiance and co-owner of Impeccable Mastiffs 6 years ago. He’s a plethora of knowledge since he’s a practicing veterinarian. We are both active members of the Mastiff Club of America (MCOA) as well as the Mastiff Club of Florida.
In addition to showing and occasionally breeding our Mastiffs, we offer a puppy referral service. We ONLY refer you to people who have put their dogs though a min. of testing (Hips, elbows, hearth and have DNA tested their dam and sire of litter for known Mastiff health issues that plague the breed and cause heartache and lack of quality of life to your dog). Do NOT trust anyone unless you see the actual testing results. Please ask US.
It’s important. Although, I love my fiance, veterinarians CANNOT tell you a puppy is without genetic issues unless proper testing and or certification through OFA, PennHip, CERF, PenGen, etc... is done. A young 8 week old puppy or breeding age female or male is generally “healthy” upon routine inspection and can pass a minimum exam in a veterinarian’s office. This does NOT mean they should be bred. Please ask us or any breeder to see testing documents. Do not take anyone’s word. Even ask us. PLEASE. We have proof that our dogs are genetically sound.
BIG ANNOUNCEMENT! Puppies just born Oct. 26th 2018! Many fawn, HUGE and VERY healthy babies. The dam (mother) of this litter is a 209-220 lbs. (depending on her diet month by month) Grand Champion imported from Denmark with OFA hips, elbows, eyes, heart and has passed all of her genetic testing. PRA, DM, CMR1, etc...the sire of this litter is a grand champion who is 220 lbs and has also passed all of his health testing. Full health guarantee against genetic issues for the life of the dog. 24/7 phone and text support for the life of your Mastiff.
PLEASE ask us for anything you need to make an informed decision about buying a Mastiff or need help with a current Mastiff you own.
