PSA: Yzma is the only cat left in the cafe looking for a home! She is so friendly and playful we know she’d make a great addition to your home. She’s great with kids and other animals! We are open until 5pm today, and it is our very last day of business. Please come meet Yzma and consider bringing her home today. Yall really came through for us and the other cats this week, and Yzma deserves to find her furever home too!

There’s no easy way to say this, but we will be closing our doors on November 18th. This past year has been an incredible adventure and we have seen over 150 of our cafe cats find their furever homes! Everyone is feeling the squeeze of rising costs due to inflation, and unfortunately we are not exempt. The current economy is not kind to small businesses, so we’ve had to make this incredibly difficult decision but we are so proud of what we’ve accomplished. Thank you so much for your support. Everyone we met - every guest who visited our cafe to every follower who left a comment on our posts - was a vital part of our journey and we appreciate you. Cafe visits will be just $5 for the next two weeks! Come see us! Adopt a cat! Share your favorite memories with us! We want to celebrate with you while we transition into what’s next 😻

Icymi Misty won the fluffiest tail award at the cafe this week! 🏆 She is a medium-haired black cat meaning she has little tufts in her ears and a floofy tail without the super long thick coat of a true long-haired cat. This tiny tuff girl is Tawny! She’s a little shy but once she gets attention she has the loudest purr we’ve ever heard! It’s a lil rainy out there so come snuggle up with some coffee and cats. We’re slinging warm drinks (and kitty snuggles) all day!

We are so excited to be partnered with a no kill shelter working hard to take care of the animals and give them the care and love they deserve 🩷

On Monday we received an award from recognizing our exemplary work in 2022 as a No Kill shelter!

To be considered a No Kill shelter, a live release rate of 90% or higher is required. In 2022, ours was 96%. Well above industry standard, and not without the hard work and dedication of everyone on our team- from our clinic to our behavior team, and everything in between.

This is something we take seriously, and are always trying to learn, grow, and improve on. Our mission is to end unnecessary euthanasia, and we are so thankful and humbled by this recognition!

We have a new batch of cats joining us at the cafe! First up there’s Downstairs Cat - yes that’s his full name - and he acts like he’s been at the cafe his whole life. We also have tiny gremlin Josslyn who’s ready to play and snuggle with ya all afternoon! We have a gorgeous girl named Mya too but she’s feeling a little shy today. Come meet the gang and grab a coffee! As always we recommend making a reservation online, since those weekend spots can fill up fast.

She likes to people watch, and will come up and say hi after she sizes you up and decides you can be a friend. 🐈 She gets along great with the cafe cats, so she wouldn’t mind a sibling or two if you already have a furbaby at home.
