It is with heavy spirit and broken heart that I must tell everyone that Jagger, aka USHR GCH CH Southpaw Time Is On My Side JH, CGC, V, NAVHDA NA I passed away this evening at 6:25pm. He was just 2 months shy of being 16 years old!

I really do thank all of you for your prayers and well wishes over the past few weeks. He had a bad day Thursday and I had a feeling that he wasn’t going to make it through the day on Friday. I said my goodbyes to him this morning before I left to take my friend to the hospital for brain surgery. I told him that if he needed to go today, that I understood and that I would be okay. That I knew he’d be waiting for me when I passed, just as Rocky, Samantha, and Kevin were all waiting for him.

If you know me at all, then you know that this dog was waaaay more than just a dog to me. He was my everything. He was my best friend, my nursemaid, and my constant companion. He meant more to me than anything in this world. And I will miss him and mourn him all the days for the rest of my life.

Rest In Peace my little Monkey Boy.

For those of you that don’t already know, Jagger had a grand mal seizure yesterday.

I just want to thank everyone for reaching out to me, by calling, texting, messaging and commenting about Jagger. I appreciate y’all so much and it really means the world to me. I love this dog more than anything! He’s my baby and the best hunting dog I’ve ever owned!

He’s eating right now and seems to be doing well. We were sent home with 2 weeks worth of Keppra (anti-seizure med) and instructions to get an MRI done for an actual diagnosis and prognosis. He has an appointment on the 18th with a neurologist in Georgia.

We’ve lost another great dog. After a year long bout with health issues like pyometra, diabetes, cataracts, seizures, and a dog attack, Miss Samantha finally crossed over Rainbow Bridge Friday at approximately 12:30pm. She was a fighter all the way up until the end. They’ll never be another like her. I’ll miss my hungry little hippo more than anyone will ever know. I have no doubt in my mind that Kevin Craggs was there to meet her and show her around the place. I have no doubt that she’s hunting her little heart out in Heaven. Hunt ‘em up Sam Sam! I am absolutely thrilled to announce that one of Jagger and Sam's puppies went Best of Breed in a puppy match today in Chattanooga AND went Puppy Group 3! FortyLix Afterhours ADPG Paint It Black aka "Painter" was expertly handled by his owner/handler Kacie Davis. This was Painter's first dog show! Watch out world!

Performed personality tests, bird introduction and final conformation testing on the pups this afternoon with the help of Pam Constantine Cherry and Danielle Gerbert. Very pleased with what I have gotten out of this litter so far! I am keeping the White girl (Luci). Two of the pups went to their new homes tonight as well. I miss them already.
