I am thrilled to announce that I have started a private Facebook group: No Bad Dogs - Kocor's K9s to provide people with an inexpensive option for dog training help! By joining, you will have unlimited access to me (the trainer), exclusive tutorials made just for the group that will teach you everything you would like to know and live Q+As each week!

You can expect to learn how to bond with your dog, how to get them to look you in the eye when you call their name, how to get them to sit, lay down, stay, come, heel on walks, leave things alone that they shouldn't pick up in their mouth, how to get them to stop chasing your cats or stop jumping on your guests, how to stop counter surfing, how to teach your dog to "wait" before eating their meals or before leaving the front door so that they don't dart out, how to teach your dog to "place" and not leave that spot until directed to, how to crate train properly and how to potty train your pup (young or old). I will also talk about anxiety, how to help your dog overcome it, how to read your dog's body language and how to stop unwanted behavioral problems! Leash reactivity is my specialty ❤️

Come learn with me!

Luna working on her "bed" command. ❤️ This is the same thing as using the command "place". You can use whichever term you'd like, whatever you choose, you want the "place" or the "bed" to be the best place to be! Treats keep coming on the bed and stop coming when you get off. So, who would want to leave? 🤷‍♀️

I was able to do things like walk around the kitchen, open the fridge, pull out a chair at the dining room table, take a seat, walk outside onto the porch, come back in. All while encouraging her to stay in the bed and heavily rewarding her in the bed for doing so. ❤️

By the time I left, she stayed on the bed while I walked across the house, right on out the front door without budging. 👏

Hit your dog
Shove their nose in p*e
Punish to their crate

I am now booking board and trains for 2025. Here is what sets my program apart from others:

Your pup is boarded here in MY home, not at a facility. They will be treated as one of my own during their stay here and they will have breaks from learning to play in my fenced in back yard.

Your dog will learn how to behave in the home, around other dogs and children (I have a 6 year old son and two dogs of my own who are great for socialization training)

Things we will be learning include the following: name recognition, off (furniture, counters, etc), sit, lay down, stay, come, place, leave it and wait (to eat and to leave a threshold).

Multi-week trainings will progress to desensitzation and working on loose leash walking and/or heeling reliably on walks amidst distractions (cars, bikes, golf carts, people and other dogs).

Positive reinforcement ONLY. I don't use an e-collar or any aversives. My goal is to help you build a strong bond with your dog that is unlike any other.

You will be sent videos of what is being learned over here so that you can practice at home! This program is meant for us to work together! Weekly trainings are Monday-Friday. Your pup will come home for the weekend so you can see their progress and work with them yourself! Weekend trainings are the same concept, where they come to me for the weekend but work with you during the week!

Help me spread the word in hopes of finding this sweet little lady's furever 🏡🐾

I will be with Squishmallow at Petsmart on Dorchester Road today from 10:30am-1pm!

A little about Squish: she is about 1.5 years old and weighs 50lbs. She is short and solid! She is a sweet, sweet girl who loves to play with dog toys. She will toss them up in the air and play all by herself with them. She also loves to play with her fur siblings over here. She has met dogs both big and small and has done so well with all of them. She is also great with kids. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body. She likes to grab socks, but as soon as you say "squish" she spits it out, lol! She doesn't go on our furniture here at home, she doesn't jump on people, she is super wiggly and we call her "wiggle butt"! She is crate trained (loves the crate) and is house broken. No accidents in the house!

Come out and meet her this morning! I know she will be happy to meet all the new faces! 😊
