It's been over a month (September 27) since the first vet that saw her said they best way to fix her was euthanasia! Even though she doesn't walk well and has other issues, she still has life in her! She enjoys her day her food, treats, goat milk, and attention wagging her tail to confirm that! She is very sweet and loveable and loves to talk her own language when I'm coming to see her. Sometimes I stop at the gate just to record her conversation with me! ❤️ I do hope she makes it to Dec 5th to celebrate her 10th birthday on this earth and with me.

Durango out taking a break from playing with his rings. They are his and he doesn't go too far without bringing them where he goes. When he rolls around on his back, he puts one leg in the rings so he can hang on to them. It's do cute!
I love this big boy along with the others and my cat Tigi!

On September 27 because Trickie has started having some problems, I took her to the vet. Their recommendation for fixing her was euthanasia!
I said Not Today! I'm so glad I didn't follow tgere suggestion. She has had many enjoyable days since. It's hard for her to walk with fused vertebrae but she wags her tail most of the time when I'm talking to her. The other vet i go to asked for her xrays. Doc recommended asprin daily and that really seems to help. She walks around a bit every day exploring and following me for food and treats and attention. She especially likes drinking goat milk. While she is enjoying her days, I will never think of putting her down. She talks to me every day I come see her and the others. She is a sweetheart!

She isn't in the best of health so I'm not sure if she will make another year. However, we try to enjoy each day that we have.
