We are hiring for GROOMER ASSISTANTS/Dog Washers!
We are looking for spunky, energetic individuals that are interested in starting a grooming career! This is an ‘entry level’ position that will teach you basic dog cleaning and care and how to cope with the stresses of pet care and safety in a fast-paced environment. While stressful, dog grooming is a very rewarding job that brings an inner satisfaction in getting to transform dirty, scruffy pups into clean, happy pups and see how happy their owners are to see your hard work!
You’ll be responsible for basic dog cleaning care including but not limited to: learning to select shampoos and conditioners based on the pet’s specific skin care needs, washing, brushing/combing fur and tangles in hair, drying, clipping of toenails, cleaning ears, shaving paw pads and sanitary areas, animal safety and keeping a clean work area. (we will teach you all of this!)
If interested in this position, you’ll need to be able to interact with animals without fear, have attention to safety for yourself and the pet, excellent customer service, a willingness to learn and adapt to your environment, teamwork mentality, have good time management skills, ability to work all day on your feet with bending/lifting/twisting/turning/climbing. (we need you to be able to do this before hiring you!)
We offer employee parties, weekly pay, cash tips, steady repetitive schedules, Paid Christmas and Thanksgiving Breaks, artistic freedom and the knowledge of a skill you can use anywhere in the world. Pay is 10$-15$/hr depending on your own rate of work! Plus tips! Full time or Part Time available, most weekends a must! Hours are rotating 6-8hr shifts around the daily hours of 8:45-6.

Our Story

Our Mission: To provide a low-stress grooming experience and environment that keeps your pet happy and safe throughout the whole grooming process. Our biggest compliment is having customers tell us their dog is not as anxious after the grooming experience we provide. That is what we are here for! We also offer a wide range of completely natural essential oil products that other competitors nearby do not as to promote regeneration of- or compliment/maintain your pet’s healthy skin & coat.

After grooming in corporations for nearly a decade, my husband applauded my efforts to begin this small company inside of our garage. As business grew and our yard became hairier, we had to move this ship to another location. A very accommodating place with wonderful staff at StoreSmart Storage on Miles rd rented us a small space to help accommodate more customers and pets at one time. Customers could now leave their pets longer and with wider hours and still get their pup back clean, relaxed and happy. We then acquired a couple of lovely bathing and grooming ladies that do a bang up job keeping the vision true and getting pups happily, quickly and beautifully groomed.

As our popularity grew it was apparent we needed a larger space for the staff, dogs and customers! After consulting with some business advisers and a long time looking we ended up where we are now at the Summerville Galleria. We are proud to say this is hopefully our final move! We have more than enough space now for bathing, grooming, kenneling and customers! We even can sell treats at toys now!

As our little dream flourishes and we grow.. No matter what our outsides look like, our insides will remain pure. I promise each customer that I will always strive to help your pet get through this stressful process as happily and quickly as safely possible so they (and YOU) are blowing my phone up to get back in. I’ve learned in 20 years of customer service that a business by no means can make every customer happy, but it doesn’t mean we can’t try!
