Meet Molly, our head receptionist! Molly has always had a big heart for animals. She grew up with a chocolate lab named Tucker and has a corgi of her own named Jackson. She graduated from Ramapo College in 2020 with a degree in Law & Society and a minor in criminal studies. After working for a law firm for a year, she realized she was meant to be working with animals because they are what she’s most passionate about. At Lyons Vet, Molly leads the reception team and is also our travel expert for those in need of international pet health certificates. She loves spending time with her family, going to concerts, and anything that has to do with animals!

Meet Jeff, our Head Technician! Dogs have been in Jeff’s life for as long as he can remember and he has always had a soft spot for German Shepherds, and for any breed that is often considered intimidating. Jeff understands and appreciates the challenges of forming a strong bond with such breeds that many pet owners find difficult to connect with. He began his career during his teenage years, taking on pet sitting jobs, until he accepted a kennel position at a veterinary hospital in 2015. Jeff’s knowledge and skills allowed him to advance quickly. Within a year, he was promoted to a veterinary technician role. Currently at Lyons Vet, he is in a leadership position, helping to train and guide veterinary technicians and those who aspire to be in such a role. Jeff’s interests include listening to infectious disease podcasts and murder mysteries. He has two dogs of his own, Cedar and Huckleberry, and hopes to continue advancing towards his ultimate goal of becoming a veterinarian.

Did you know that Lyons Vet has been certified an official “Santa’s E.L.V.E.S.” (Emergency Landing and Veterinary Expert System) location?

That's right! In the event that Santa’s reindeer team needs to make an unscheduled Christmas Eve stop for sled repairs, refueling, or veterinary care, staff at this clinic will be available to provide needed assistance and ensure a safe and on-time delivery of Santa’s cargo.
