It's sweater weather here at VIP! Here at VIP we try to keep your pup as happy as possible all year long and while we do have an indoor play building that's nice and cozy with heat, most of our pups prefer to be outside so we try to keep them out as long as possible! When we see pups shake or shiver we get cozy blankets, matts and best of all? Sweaters!! If your pup has a sweater they've outgrown please consider donating a sweater to VIP so we can make sure another dog has a chance to stay nice and toasty and remain outside with all of their furriends! Feel free to drop in during our hours of operation and donate what you can!

Meet the Owners

Claudia is the owner and founder of VIPuppy Spa. She brings her passion for animals from Brazil to here in Summit, New Jersey. Since arriving in the USA, she knew her calling was to work with dogs. Sunny, the inspiration behind the logo, was who jumpstarted her love for animals. Like many other dog lovers, every opportunity she had to adopt, she took it! After adopting two Golden Retrievers who needed a home, Claudia knew that taking care of her own pets was not enough. Thus, she began her search to fulfill her life-long calling.

Claudia started by taking grooming classes in NYC. After realizing her passion lies with not only grooming dogs but taking care of them, she worked hard to achieve her goal of becoming a successful business owner. After much hard work and dedication, she and her husband, Gabriel, opened the doors of VIPuppy Spa in 2011, a state-of-the-art facility that provides first-class service to our VIP clients by employing professional pet-loving staff and offering services that go beyond your average doggie daycare and boarding resort. Claudia and Gabriel believe in the power of socialization, of love, and of true VIP service.
