🎄 Holiday Pet Safety Tips 🐾
The holidays are full of fun, food, and festivities — but they can also bring hidden dangers for our pets. A few simple precautions can help keep your dogs and cats safe and healthy this season:
✨ Skip the table scraps — Rich foods like turkey skin, gravy, chocolate, onions, and desserts can cause stomach upset or serious illness.
✨ Secure decorations — Tinsel, ribbon, ornaments, and string lights can be choking hazards or cause intestinal blockages if swallowed.
✨ Watch the plants — Poinsettias, mistletoe, holly, and lilies (especially for cats) can be toxic if ingested.
✨ Provide a quiet space — Guests, noise, and routine changes can be stressful. Make sure your pet has a calm place to retreat and relax.
✨ Keep medications and alcohol out of reach — Even small amounts can be dangerous for pets.
A little prevention goes a long way toward a happy, healthy holiday for everyone — including your four-legged family members! ❤️🐶🐱
