Everyone has already seen this boy many times on my page but I still wanted to give him a proper introduction. This is Sketchy the Snow Corn Snake! He was my first ever snake I got back in 2019. Believe it or not I used to be scared of snakes and still was when I got this guy. I am so grateful I did though as he opened up a whole new world of creatures for me to adore and a new (expensive😅) hobby for me to love.

He’s definitely a spazz and acts “sketchy” sometimes but I wouldn’t change it for anything.🩷

This gorgeous lady is Athena the Ball Python! She came to us from an abandonment situation where her previous owner move overseas and left her behind in an apartment. Thankfully someone realized she was there and took her in until she soon after found her way here! She is approximately 7yrs old and has always been the most social ball python always begging to come out to see what you’re doing or explore. Her and her boyfriend Chai were actually paired this season and we currently have 1 fertile egg in incubation!

Over the next few days I want to properly introduce everyone to our resident scaley babies! First up is our newest addition Shortcake🍰 the Pueblan Milk Snake. She came from Jax’s Exotics at this past weekends Columbia SC Repticon. She’s still pretty shy but this adorable little face immediately won me over😆. We are hoping she will be a future girlfriend to Sketchy the corn snake and be able to make some beautiful hybrids!

This sweet girl is a Conda Het Snow Hognose that’s looking for a new 🏠! She is eating well on FT pinky mice and does very well with handling. No musking or hissing! She would make a wonderful pet or addition to a breeding project. ✈️ is an option before the weather gets too cold.

These two wonderful Saharan Sand Boas are looking for their new forever hides! Firefly is a male who is very laidback and is great with handling. Ember is a female who is a little more shy but is still super sweet. They are both eating very well and consistently on frozen thawed mice. If you are looking to breed this species they are both ready to breed once they settle into their new home. We now offer📦 ✈️ when safe to do so, so local pick up is not required but is also another option as well!

After a mental health vacation that extended way longer than planned 😅 I am happy to announce Iris Scales will slowly be returning! With some exciting projects on the way and with many new residents to introduce I am over the moon excited to share all the new updates with everyone! 🥰

Went to The Creature Room’s grand opening today and was absolutely amazed at how wonderful their store looks and even bought these beautiful informational signs you can put on your pets cages! If you’re in the Columbia area definitely check them out!

First bearded dragon for the rescue came in tonight! This poor baby is about 7-8 years old and was given to me by a wonderful person who rescued her from a previous home but was unable to get her to eat. The plan is to rehydrate and do some syringe feeding. Wish this new baby and I luck as we move forward!

Update: Rose has regained all of her sight and has made it through her ordeal in perfect health! Thank you everyone for your support in watching this girl get better. This will continue to be her permanent home and we hope everyone will stick around to watch this girl and all of the other residents grow up!💜

Got a big surprise this morning in one of the leopard gecko tanks! I’m not sure if they are fertile (she was housed with a male in her previous home) but I’m going to try to incubate them and we’ll see what happens!

Good afternoon! I just wanted to give everyone an update on the little gecko I took in a little over a week ago. Unfortunately with how bad her eyes were with the stuck shed and some infection underneath she is partially blind now. She hasn’t let that stop her though and has been climbing/using every inch of her enclosure and has been eating everything she thinks could be food (including the occasional finger😅)! I have decided on the name Rose for her and will continue to update as she makes more progress!
