I'm a realist...I know you have had to move on. Your pets need care that I just can't do...right now. ha. I'm hopeful down the road I'll be able to get back to many of your pets and you. Some may have found sitters and walkers that they're now more comfortable with than me...WHAT? haha No, that is life. All that being said, one day I want to post here that I'm back in business...not yet, but I will get there. Either way, you know how I feel about both your pets and you. Frankly, it's the best job on the planet.

As you know, Sam and I are passionate about animals, particularly dogs. I think we have had 20 or 21 dogs come through our home...that would be adopted dogs and fosters. Side note...I am a terrible foster dad...Sam will tell you that on more than one occasion, a foster will walk in the door and about 15 minutes later I'll turn to her and say, "Who the hell am I kidding, let's keep it." haha
We have had the best luck with all of these dogs too. So many more laughs than tears. They have all added so much to our lives. To us, they are "not just a dog," but family.
I strongly encourage you to adopt. Why in God's name would you spend hundreds, sometimes thousands, of dollars when you can adopt at a nominal fee? Crazy to me, but that's not us.
Or, try fostering. It's a temporary layover for these great dogs that just need some help. Who knows, you might become a foster failure like myself and keep that animal for yourself. ha
Anyway, go love a dog. They enrich our lives so much.

It's a humbling moment when you realize your dog has actually trained you to do something...haha My three have me wrapped around their paws. And I wouldn't have it any other way. haha

I keep telling you how grateful I am to all of you for your good thoughts and prayers. I receive so many messages on a daily basis asking how everything is going? And it always reminds me of the amazing people in my life.
So, thank you. I am so blessed. I just told a friend yesterday that I don't know how anyone that does not have people does it?
I do.
The dogs, Sam, and I say "thank you."

We fostered puppy Brielle 2 years ago. Gorgeous dog. She flew to NJ to her new happy life after being found in an old abandoned house. Her foster ended up adopting her.
Isn't she beautiful? We had so much fun with her.
