A Fond Farewell to Dr. Klopfer

After many years of dedicated service, Dr. Rachel Klopfer has made the heartfelt decision to begin her soft retirement plan. Friday, December 20 will be her last day at Sunderland Animal Hospital, as she transitions away from the private practice sector.

Dr. Klopfer will be focusing on a community outreach program, funded by several animal welfare organizations, orchestrated by the MSPCA, serving Springfield, Chicopee, and Holyoke communities.

While we will greatly miss Dr. Klopfer’s expertise and compassion at Sunderland Animal Hospital, we are thrilled for her as she embraces this next chapter. She is looking forward to enjoying some more time with her family, and to returning to many of her favorite activities outside of the veterinary field.

We are actively working to welcome a new associate to our team and remain committed to providing our clients and their pets with the same quality care and compassion during this transition.

Please join us in wishing Dr. Klopfer all the best in her new role and soft retirement!
