The chickens got some yummy lunch today! Cucumber, snap peas, feed of course mixed with some meal worms, and dandelion flowers and greens! They seemed to be pleased with the menu!

Another update our chickens have almost tripled in size in 2 weeks! My not so little babies are growing crazy fast! It looks like McGonagull is definitely a rooster and the rest of my pretties are all still hens! I can't wait for eggs! I haven't decided whether or not I want to keep McGonagull for hatching eggs in the near future but if anyone's looking for a Lavender Orpington Roo he could be potentially up for discussion.

Hoppy Hearts Rabbitry is so excited to bring home RR's Eclipse and her babies today! Our sister rabbitry L&L Rabbitry brought the sire (Bunn in the Oven's Silver Marten aka Java) to this litter home a couple weeks ago and they are both such sweet and beautiful rabbits. Can't wait to watch these babies grow up and see them on the tables! As of right now we have:
1 Blue Otter Buck (available for deposit)
1 Blue Otter Doe (NFS)
1 Chocolate Otter Doe (NFS)
2 Chocolate Otter Bucks (available for deposit)
1 Black Otter Buck (available for deposit)

All kits will be fully pedigreed and ready to go home in about 6 weeks. 💕

Blossom Acres Belle aka Bellatrix is looking for a new home! She is a great rabbit with lots of personality! She is still working on shedding her transition wool but would make a great brood doe or pet until her face defluffs a little and she can hit the show tables. Black Lionhead Sr Doe with pedigree.

The chickie poos moved to a new enclosure today where they'll get more out door action until they can wander a little better on their own. They ate up their ENTIRE suet yesterday and crumbles AND their meal worms! Can't wait to whip them up all kinds of delicious stuff to see what they love!

Ignore my doofy face but I did a thing today! Hoppy Hearts Rabbitry now has some new feathered friends! I've wanted Lavender Orpingtons for such a long time and finally got some and one Blue Laced Red Wyandotte! The 2 larger Lavenders are named McGonagall (darker red comb) and HENrietta and the smaller, younger lavender is named Buckbeak. The Red is Ronald Weasley (hopefully she is a hen tho lol!) Eggs to come in the future!! Thanks to Lyndsie Smith for going with and keeping them in your coop for me! And thank you to Taylor Elizabeth Cupp for providing them for us!

Spent the day with Lyndsie Smith doing some rabbity things. Very interesting necropsy and evaluating some other rabbits to make sure they were all good and I fell in love with this little beauty. ❤️ Thank you so much to L & L Rabbitry for letting me steal this sweet little thing! Hoppy Hearts Rabbitry finally has their first silver fox! I can't wait to expand this project and to see where this takes us! Meat rabbits is something I've wanted to get into for quite some time and now I finally get to! This breed will provide love, show prospects and food to my family and I could not be more thankful or excited to welcome little Miss Grimella to our rabbitry!

Late posting but we were exhausted last night lol! Lonesome Pine's Kisses came to live with us last night and made herself right at home! We are so honored and grateful to Anjelik Angoras for allowing us to start our English Angora project out with this beautiful doe and to Penny Glazier for creating her!

Back story: I have wanted an English Angora since I was about 15 and learned about angoras for the first time after purchasing my first pair of French Angoras. About 6 or 7 years ago I learned of Penny and her amazing lines and have wanted a Lonesome Pines English Angora ever since. Angelica made my dreams come true with this gorgeous girl and in my favorite color too!

Also super exciting announcement is that Kisses is choc full (see what I did there? 🤣😉) of little kit-kats! (Baby rabbits are called kits)

We are ARBA members and an ARBA recognized rabbitry. Our current projects include Lionheads and English Angora in a variety of colors. Our main color focus at the moment is Tort and Chocolate. Our rabbitry founder and main hobbyist is Ashley Geshrick. Ashley has been showing and breeding rabbits for half of her 30 years of life and is passionate and dedicated to raising rabbits of the utmost quality and temperament and holding them to the breed standard as described in the ARBA Standard of Perfection to the best of her ability.
