Even with St. Paddy's day around the corner, it's still winter! Our newest blog is up with tips on how to keep your pet cozy and comfy while the rain still comes, and winter is in its final stretch. Nala is a good example of one of those tips: dress your pet comfortably for walks outside! Make sure that the extra layers provide enough insulation outside, without scratchy tags or restricting movement (looking like a ladybug doesn't hurt either 🐞).

Fires are still affecting the Los Angeles area, and I want to take a moment to highlight another great organization: Pasadena Humane. They are taking in and tending to the medical needs of those sweet animals who have been harmed in the fires - injuries like paw burns and smoke inhalation, or rendered homeless. As a native of Los Angeles, I am heartbroken to see the level of devastation that is still taking place right now due to the wildfires. Aside from volunteering in person, one of the best ways that those of us outside of LA can do to help is to donate to the organizations that are directly helping those who have lost their homes or been injured in the fires - both people and animals.

One of the most established is the American Red Cross, who have made it really easy to donate directly to aid in Los Angeles - simply text CAWILDFIRES TO 90999, call 1-800-RED-CROSS, or visit redcross.org.
