T.radix pearl is 1 month old, has shed twice, and is well-established and able to eat independently.

Thamnophis scaliger aka Short-tail Alpine Garter Snake.
As adults, few species of garter snakes are as small as this particular type, which is one of the smallest in the family.

Their faces also have a very “cute” look.

Flames babies are turning redder after every shed. I love how they have chocolate brown backs with red bellies. Should I call them Chocolate Flames 🍫🔥 😜
A fun fact about Flames sirtalis that you don’t fully know their true color until they got the yearling stage for some cases. So don't miss out on the potential to have the beautiful red adult because of their “baby look”.
