Here are some pet safety tips to keep your furry friends safe:
1. Store any candy or chocolate out of reach and properly dispose of the wrappers.
2. If you're dressing up your pet, be sure the costume is comfortable and does not obstruct their vision or breathing.
3. Halloween can be very noisy, so keeping pets indoors in a safe, quiet area will alleviate some anxiety.
4. Stay away from glow sticks, pets may be tempted to chew on them.
5. After the day ends, be sure to inspect your home for any items your pet could swallow or get tangled in.

Buttercup is an example of a polydactyl cat, with extra toes on her front and back paws! This conditon is not harmful, but they need extra care with their nail trims. Polydactyl cats make their bread extra soft with their additional toes! 🐾
