Exciting News!! 🗞️
We will be offering full GROOMING services again around April of 2025. Our kennel tech Olivia will be shipped off to grooming boot camp early next year for 12 weeks of school and will be our full time groomer around April of next year. ✂️

We are very excited to offer this service again soon, and this will allow us to be a "one stop shop" again to further help prevent the spread of diseases from "shop hopping"

Spent the morning helping our friends at our local Sunnyvale Animal Shelter. 🐕
Bathed a handful of their dogs to get them cleaned up and ready for adoption!!
Clay is an absolute sweetheart but those puppies may need a second bath!! 🙊

One more update ☝️🤓
We've had pet parents confirm kennel cough, upper respiratory infections, pneumonia, and some never really got an answer, but the coughing thing seems to be over. We hope we alerted everyone soon enough to reduce exposure but we still want to do better.
We're looking into a mass email / text software to immediately spread awareness and information.

We have resumed day care as normal and our regulars are slowly trickling back in. We know your pets are eager and excited to come back and play but it is imperative that you make sure your pet is healthy and safe before they return. All of our cleaning and a week of isolation would all be for nothing if your pet comes back in with germs, still hacking or coughing. Please wait at least 7 days since their last cough before bringing them back. Some only cough after their heart rate increases so if they begin to cough again in the parking lot or lobby then please take them back home. It's not worth potentially exposing everyone all over again. Potentially forcing us to close for another week or two.

We appreciate your cooperation and can't wait for everything to go back to normal.

We're asking our Day Care guests to stay home if possible until Monday at least. So we can focus on our few overnight guests and clean, clean, clean. 🧽🪣

We got a bit more work done so I thought I’d share some updates and our future plans as well.

We have a new “senior room” for our very small and fragile Day Care guests that are still at a risk even in our Small Group / Small Playroom.
Lot of new puppies recently and we needed to adapt to keep everyone safe.

We also finally settled on our new overnight rooms. We’re very happy with the product Gator Kennels provided us and we’ll be slowly but surely replacing our old overnight rooms with these new ones. Which are much easier to clean, have better storage, and are larger!! The doors being half solid and half glass will help with “hallway fighting” and “kennel aggression”

Upgrades all around for our overnight guests.

I have good news and bad news, which one do you want first?! This will be starting on April 1st but unfortunately it’s not an April Fool’s joke.

Bad News: We will be raising our overnight rates to $60 per night for 1 pet and $40 for each additional pet if they share a room. (Day Care is staying as is)

Good News: We will be staying open later during the week. Saturday will be extended in the future.

New Hours: Mon-Fri 7-7 / Sat 8-6 / Sun 2-4

We will be updating our overnight rooms which will be more spacious for our guests and much easier for us to clean. (Biggest reason for price increase)

Found this video on TikTok of a veterinarian explaining the new dog illness spreading throughout the country. I’m sure most of you have heard some mention of it, but he has some good news!! It doesn’t appear to be in Texas (yet) but we’re still closely monitoring our guests for any coughing or change in personalities.

We’re limiting nose to nose contact so our overnight guests will not be coming in contact with other overnight guests or Day Care guests during their stay, and community water bowls are gone from our outdoor yards.

We again ask to avoid “shop hopping” to prevent cross contamination so we can continue to provide a clean and safe environment.

It appears we have the Bacterial Pneumonia or whatever it was out of the building, so we will be open like normal tomorrow for Day Care.

We have a new policy to prevent cross contamination from “shop hoppers”
It may sound extreme, but it’s the only way I can think of to prevent diseases being spread from business to business.

*Your pet must be free of any symptoms for 7 days after they have visited another facility i.e. grooming salon, pet hotel, or dog park before they are allowed in our facility. If we find out you brought your pet to us before the 7 day wait period then you will be permanently banned from using our facility.*

We had Canine Influenza hit us over Christmas last year and now this may be Bacterial Pneumonia that’s going around. Two different illnesses that we have never seen or heard of before, and some of us have been doing this for over 10 years. Unfortunately both start with the same exact symptoms as Bordetella (Kennel Cough)

If your pet is coughing or feeling sick then please give them veterinary attention as it could be more than just the Kennel Cough.

We will be closed for Day Care on Saturday and Monday while the few remaining overnight guests go home. To try to prevent this from happening again, we will have stronger policies about cross contamination with other businesses and facilities. Our priorities are always a fun environment for our guests and of course safety.

We have 3 of our overnight guests currently in quarantine potentially having the Kennel Cough (Bordetella)
Our current Day Care guests are isolated from our Overnight guests.
I will be making phone calls for hotel cancellations for this weekend. I apologize for the inconvenience.

We're anticipating by Sep 3 we will be OPEN again on SUNDAYS!!
Sunday will be from 12PM to 2PM for our overnight guest to go home or check in.

I appreciate everyone's patience while we were closed as I know it was frustrating having to leave your pet another night.

I will have an official announcement closer to the date, as it could change, but we will be open again soon.

We are partnering with a professional dog photographer to ensure quality photos and "holiday months" will have their own themed photos related to that month.

Standard Months are available for $30
(Jan, Mar, Apr, Jun, Aug, Sep)
Holiday Months are available for $50
(Feb, July, Oct, Nov, Dec)

If your pet is featured in the calendar, your calendar is included in the price. The calendar will be available for everyone to purchase for $10 each.

Not the most flattering photos, but we finally have our indoor playrooms finished!! Our Small and Medium playrooms have had a total makeover from floors to ceilings.

Now that the renovations are complete (for now) we are able to do baths and nail trims again 🥳
They may be limited to overnight and day care guests only though, we aren’t certain yet.

America has a new favorite dog!! 🇫🇷

According to the American Kennel Club, for the past 31 years, the Labrador Retriever was America’s favorite dog, but it was eclipsed in 2022 by the French Bulldog.

Frenchies can make wonderful family pets but please do proper research of breed behaviors and personalities. Also be sure to pick a quality breeder as Frenchies in particular are notorious for poor breeding and inbreeding.

I fully believe the Golden Doodle will take the top spot once the AKC recognizes the breed, but until then, the French Bulldog is the new “American” Bulldog 😉

Well, big surprise. We’re iced in.
We won’t be open today for my staff and our customers safety.

Fortunately one employee lives close enough to get there safely and they’ll be taking care of our overnight guests today and throughout the week if things don’t clear up.
