Big News! We are moving to a new location with Petco!!
Additional e-mail notifications are being sent out this weekend to everyone with e-mail on file.

After 40 years of serving pets at Sunrise Animal Hospital, we’ve decided to join Petco Health & Wellness Co. This merger allows us to better serve you and your pets. As we make this transition to a brand new and improved facility, we will be unavailable from December 2 – December 17, 2023.

For any non-urgent concerns or records requests please call our office line and leave a detailed message. We will be checking the voicemail intermittently. We apologize for any inconvenience. Medication refills can be requested via the online pharmacy at Petco.com.

Rest assured; this decision was not taken lightly. Dr. Shetler and his entire team are remaining as a part of the clinic and transitioning into the new facility. Petco shares the same values as Sunrise Animal Hospital with a commitment to improving the lives of pets, pet parents, and our employees. Joining Petco will provide our team with back-end support and allow us to focus on what we do best – care for your pet!

Small, family-owned business is now hiring an experienced Veterinary Technician. Come join our team and share your love for animals by providing excellent care to our patients and their families. Our one-doctor practice is looking for team members who can assist the Veterinarian in the following duties:
* Taking medical history and recording in patients’ chart
* Animal restraint and checking vitals
* Administering medications, vaccines and treatments as prescribed by the Veterinarian
* Bathing animals: cleaning ears, nail trims, etc.
* Venipuncture
* Prepare patients and equipment for surgical procedures
* Monitoring animals under anesthesia
* Performing laboratory procedures
* Communicating with and educating clients
* Maintaining a clean, sterile work environment
* Managing & Stocking Inventory

Competitive pay and paid time off. On the job training. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required.
