Acadiana Humane Society Causes Saving Animals Lives, One at a Time We are an all-volunteer, no-kill animal rescue that covers the Acadiana area in Louisiana.

We have foster homes all around the area. We take in cats, dogs, rabbits, ferrets, birds, and other small animals that are in need of rescue and homes. We see to their medical and other needs and love and care for them until we can find them an adoptive home.

Curie is at Lafayette Veterinary Care Center with her foster mom. They just went in for her appointment with Dr. Dusty for blood in her urine after having constipation issues. She still has to be expressed regularly because she has Manx Syndrome. Donations are urgently needed for her vet bills.
