🌟 December Update for Superior Pet’s Monthly Spay/Neuter Sponsorship Drawing! 🐾

I’m thrilled to announce that our December winner has been selected—congratulations to Oreo!

Oreo’s story is both heartbreaking and heartwarming. She was found abandoned in someone’s yard, but thanks to a post in the Everything Superior Arizona community group, her life took a turn for the better. Kiara rescued Oreo, and since then, she’s been thriving! Kiara shared that Oreo loves riding in the car and exploring the park—check out the adorable photos of her enjoying these adventures.

Oreo will be spayed in January, ensuring she’ll never have to worry about unwanted puppies. This is one more step toward reducing stray overpopulation in Superior, and I couldn’t be more excited for her!

💡 Why This Initiative Matters
This sponsorship program was started in the hope that more people will step up and adopt pets in need of loving homes. While I can’t save every animal, I’m doing my part by promoting spay and neuter education and encouraging the community to make a difference.

Remember, shelters are overflowing with amazing animals waiting for homes. If adoption isn’t an option for you right now, fostering is another fantastic way to help. Did you know that Pinal County has an incredible program where they’ll actually pay you to foster a pet? How cool is that?

In response to the recent rise in abandoned animals in Superior, I’m launching a new monthly drawing to sponsor a spay or neuter for rescued
pets in our community. This is a small but meaningful way to help reduce overpopulation and give these animals a better future.

- Submit a photo and a short story about your rescued pet by December 17th.
- The next drawing will be held on December 18th.

I’m still available for nail trims 🥰🤗

How often does your dog need their nails trimmed? Dogs need their nails clipped on a regular basis, approximately every 3-4 weeks

Unlike human fingernails dogs have a vein called a quick that runs through their nails causing sensitivity and bleeding if cut too close. Nails can only be clipped back to a certain length without causing bleeding and pain. With more frequent nail trimming the length would be shorter and be able to get cut shorter without causing pain or bleeding. We would be more than happy to show you on your fur baby’s nails where the quick is located and discuss a plan to work the length back.
