Due to "Staffing Issues" the ER will not be open parts of this upcoming weekend. In order to provide the best possible care for our clients and patients, Happy Tails will be open the following times during this weekend for emergencies:

8pm to 8am Saturday 1/14/23 to Sunday 1/15/23

AND

8pm to 8am Sunday 1/15/23 to Monday 1/16/23

If you have an EMERGENCY during this time you can call us at 715-919-7768 If we do not answer immediately, you can leave a message and we will call you back as soon as possible Thank you!

Unfortunately, we have found it necessary to update our clinic policies due to an excessive amount of skipped/missed appointments in the past few weeks. Please note this important update that is effective immediately:

Due to the number of patients waiting to be seen, if you do NOT provide 24 hour notice of an appointment cancellation you will be subject to a fee of $55.00. This fee will need to be paid prior to receiving future services. Management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.

HELP US WITH OUR HOLIDAY FUNDRAISER!

Now through the end of 2022, Happy Tails will be matching up to $4500 in donations to be split equally among the following three rescue groups:

1. Warm Fuzzies Animal Rescue
2. PJ's Rescue
3. Northern Lakes Rescue

All three of the hardworking, local rescues can use your help! With your donations and our matching, we can provide up to $3000 for each of these three animal rescues when they need it the most!

You can mail Happy Tails donations for this fundraiser (identify it's for the holiday rescue fundraiser please) or stop down and make a donation in person.

Due to the emergency room being closed Tuesday evenings for the foreseeable future, we will be handling our own emergencies from 5pm Tuesday evenings until 8am Wednesday mornings. Should you have an emergency during this time, please call us on our emergency line at 715-919-7768. If we do not answer, leave a message and we will call you back

Please remember, this emergency line is only for our established clients Clients of other veterinary clinics need to call their own veterinarian

Also, this line is only for EMERGENCIES. Do not call this emergency line for reasons other than that.

The emergency room will be open other nights of the week and the weekend, so we will only be using and checking this emergency line from 5pm Tuesday evenings until 8am Wednesday mornings. Do not call this line at other times as it will not be checked.

Thanks from the bottom of our hearts to everyone who helped with our Holiday Fundraiser! We were able to raise approximately $1150 each for Warm Fuzzies Animal Rescue, P'js Rescue and Northern Lakes Animal Rescue, for a total of $3450 raised. Thanks so very much! SEEKING EXPERIENCED VETERINARY TECHNICIAN

We are looking to add another veterinary technician to our staff. Position is full time, four 10 hour days a week. Current hours are 7:30am to 5:30pm Monday through Friday.

We are looking for an experienced, certified technician who has wonderful people skills, is gentle with animals, and knows how to perform standard technician duties such as laboratory, surgery and radiography tasks.
