It’s been an unforgettable week here at the Wild Horse Preserve at Grayce Wynds, and we were truly honored to host the incredible White family L & L Manquest on the final leg of their cross-country journey. Their mission, character, and connection with horses align so beautifully with what we’re all about. We wish them well in all their future adventures and highly recommend checking out one of their horsemanship clinics… you’ll be glad you did!

For those new to our farm:
🌾 We are an educational nonprofit in Brunswick County, connecting people of all ages with the wild horses of the eastern U.S.
🐴 We welcomed over 1,000 visitors last year through our four unique tour types—ranging from self-guided walks to petting zoo visits and guided horse tours.
🎃 We host special seasonal events throughout the year, including our popular fall Pumpkin Days, Valentine’s fun, Easter celebrations, and free visits during the Christmas season.
🚫 While we don’t offer trail rides, we do provide hand-led pony rides for younger guests.
🌟 All of this is made possible by our amazing team of 50+ dedicated volunteers.
📅 We’re open to the public by appointment only, Monday through Saturday, 9 AM to 5 PM.

They are here!!! The family that started out in California in 2022 on horseback arrived at Grayce Wynds on June 17th at 2:30...the end of their journey. We are 2 miles from the Atlantic Ocean. Be sure to check out their story on Llmanquest. Lucas and Levi graduated last night, on the beach, at Holden Beach. Some of their followers also traveled from other states to be part of their celebration.

Did you know we have an aviary in our effort to share God's creation with our visitors? These two little birdies are diamond doves, recently hatched. As newborns, they were about an inch long, perfectly formed. Every day, they seemed to double in size. Then. P**f! They were gone. But found here, enjoying life.

Colonial Spanish mustangs, descended from the Iberian horses brought to America by the Conquistadors.
