Tips and Tricks: Heeling/Walking on a leash

Happy Easter K9 Penn family! I hope everyone is staying safe and having a great Sunday. This weeks tips and tricks video is on heeling with your canine. Your canine and you are a team with walking, there shouldn’t be a leader or pulling. Remember straight up correction is for sit but towards the tail correction is to heel. If you have any questions, comment below and I’d be happy to answer! Challenge: When walking with your dog, alternate pace. Remember to tap when increasing speed and giving a heel when decreasing speed. This exercise works communication as well as your dog being alert to you.
