Unsure how your dog would respond to other dogs up close and personal? Let us help!
What if my dog doesn’t like other dogs?
Then we can give you tips on enrichment and training to keep your dog neutral and fulfilled!
For anyone who has been following along, we’ve slowly been acclimating Charlie to other dogs and helping her understand boundaries. This is the second time she’s played with Winnie the Samoyed but the first time without a muzzle. There was zero hostility and because they both enjoy pushy and rough play it went well. This kind of play isn’t the preference for all dogs, including my other two. Luckily, Charlie is also learning to respect boundaries set by myself and other dogs and to coexist peacefully.
Step by step, she is getting there 🤍
Your dogs stay with us just got a little more fun!
I know you’re wondering how that could be possible. 😉 @canyonstatecanine is now offering lure coursing as an available add on service for boarding and daycare clients! We will also have this available as a drop in service if you don’t need care but still want to bring your dog by for a quick run and some fun!
Shout out to @swiftpaws_official for creating such a fun time for all our furry friends!
“She’s looking at ME! She never looks at me when we walk!”
That feeling when you can feel your relationship with your dog improving 🥰
Presley is a STRONG puller and her mom hasn’t been able to walk her lately because of that. But look how happy and comfortable they both look! 🤍🤍

I am seeing an uptick in symptoms of laser light syndrome. 9 times out of 10 if you’re having your pet chase a laser pointer, I can tell before you confirm for me that it’s true. They chase any reflection of light, as well as shadows, sometimes obsessively. It can also have a negative impact on their eyes!
I know you’re well meaning and it seems like your pet may be having fun and you think it’s cute or funny. But the truth is that this just isn’t good for them mentally.
Shoot me a message if you’d like a link to articles on this topic!
Have you used a laser pointer with your pet? If so, have you noticed they chase other lights and shadows?
Super short version for those who asked. Let me know in the comments if you want me to go further into this explanation in stories, or if you need a link to any quality training equipment!
If you’re tagged it’s because you asked for more info, sorry if you asked and I missed you!
We LOVE our @dogpacer_treadmill over here!!
Has your dog ever used a treadmill? If not, are you trying it out this summer?

The cat watching the tail wag 😂❤️
We’re working on a prettier finish - but recall practice with Bentley is going well 💛
Both my little guys this month are fear reactive. Teaching them that keeping their focus on me not only keeps them safe, but always is the most FUN and REWARDING option!
After a month of working hard this is what you get. A dog who is literally jumping to do the next thing you ask. No matter who/what is around. This is relationship building!!
