Hello everyone!
Thank you all for joining and following Diesel Dog Training. We’d like to reintroduce ourselves and explain the back story of Diesel Dog Training.
My name is Sabrina and I am the co-owner and head trainer of Diesel Dog Training. I served in the United States Army as a Military Working Dog Handler and Trainer. I served for 9 and a half years at 2 of the largest installations and kennels in the Army, Fort Hood (now Fort Cavazos), Texas and Fort Myer/Fort Belvoir, Virginia. I have training in everything from Basic Obedience, Advanced Obedience, Detection, Patrol, Scouting, and E-collar training. I’ve deployed twice, once to Egypt with Diesel and the second deployment as a Kennel Master in Iraq.
My name is Ashley and I am Sabrina’s wife, co-owner and trainer of Diesel Dog Training. I served in the United States Army as an Airborne Military Police Officer and then a Military Working Dog Handler and Trainer. I served 10 years at 3 of the largest installations in the Army, and two of the largest kennels in the Army, Fort Bragg (Fort Liberty), NC, Fort Hood (Fort Cavazos), TX and Fort Myer/Fort Belvoir, VA. I have training in Basic Obedience, Advanced Obedience, Detection, Patrol, and Scouting. I deployed twice, first to UAE when I was an MP, and the second to Kuwait but was pushed forward and spent most of my time in Syria with my dog Denis.
We named our training company Diesel Dog Training after Sabrina’s military working dog Diesel who passed in June 2022 on his 14th birthday. He was a big part of our lives, and a big part of how and why Sabrina is the handler and trainer she is and we wanted to honor him and his legacy. He served 9 years at Fort Hood (Fort Cavazos), TX, he had 4 handlers and deployed with each. He had 2 deployments to Afghanistan, 1 deployment to Qatar and 1 deployment to Egypt. He was one of the best dogs in the kennel and easily became the kennels mascot.
We look forward to meeting you all and helping you become the best owner for your dogs. We are mobile in Surprise, AZ and believe involving the owners with training and starting in their home environment lays down the foundation of good obedience and understanding for both dog and human.
