Koch Hoher Zwinger
Our love affair for the German Shepherd began 0ver 30 years ago! Our current kennel includes Czech, East (DDR) and West German working lines. The reliability, diversity and strong work ethic have made them trusted and enjoyable. They are our all time favorite breed.
Our modest kennel is located in the Eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains. We are at an elevation of 5200 feet. Koch Hohen Zwinger translated from German to English is .... Koch High Kennel. Our dogs are offered a healthy, clean life style on 160 acres. We have never used pesticides or herbicides. They drink pure non chlorinated water and eat quality foods some of which are human grade. They are happy and well socialized.
Each dog brings a different personality and an individual working preference. They get to tell us what sport they want to do. Our ideas are tailored to keep them having fun, when they train and when they work.
