So I feel that I need to get something off my chest…

Yes, pun intended. Hehehe

One week from today I go under the knife to begin my journey back to my original body.
In 1991 I made the decision that breast implants would finally bring me physical confidence. And they did!
As a young girl, the teasing began from those closest to me, and I’m sure it did more damage than they knew it would.
As confident as I was in other parts of my life, I had very low self-esteem as I felt I looked like the tomboy I was, not the young girl I was becoming.
Writing all this now it just feels so silly… But it was very real, and it affected me deeply.
Now over 30 years later, I realize that I don’t need them. I no longer have that insecurity of my physical self nor is it important.
Several months ago, I made the decision that it’s time to have them removed. Once I made that decision, I started digging… And I discovered that there is a high possibility that having them removed is going to help me heal from the multiple ailments I have been living with all these decades.
There is a good chance I have Breast Implant Illness. It is not recognize by the FDA, but it is very real. I’m sharing this with you, because I am hoping that if you, yourself, has implants and is sick, or you know someone who has implants and is sick, that you can share this with them and give them hope ❤️
